Erste Bank

Erste Bank is the largest and oldest existing Austrian bank. The bank has its headquarters in Vienna.

It has emerged from the First Austrian Savings Bank, founded in 1819, and in 1993 became a public company.

The parent company, Erste Group AG, with 16.4 million customers, is one of the largest banking groups in Central and Eastern Europe. It belongs to the group of savings banks in Austria and is represented in the Austrian Savings Banks Association.

Currently, the bank employs more than 14,000 people, serving more than 3 million customers in about 1,000 branches and over 180 banking offices.
