Bankhaus Carl Spängler & Co. AG is the country’s oldest bank, which since its founding in 1828, headquartered in the city of Salzburg.

The bank currently operates through four branches in Salzburg, as well as two in Pinzgau. Outside Salzburg, the company represented via branch offices in Vienna, Kitzbühel and Linz.

Bankhaus Spängler was founded by Johann Alois Duregger in 1828. Today, the seventh generation of the family has been running the bank since its inception.
