Sveriges Riksbank (Bank of Sweden) is the central bank of Sweden and the main in the Swedish parliament of the Riksdag. Riksbank is responsible for monetary policy in order to maintain price stability. The Bank was also tasked with promoting a safe and efficient payment system. Riksbank was founded in 1668 and is considered the oldest central bank in the world.
