Kutxabank

Kutxabank is a Spanish bank based in Bilbao. It was created in 2011 as an Institutional Protection System (SIP) of the three Basque savings banks: Bilbao Bizkaia Kutxa (BBK), Kutxa and Caja Vital, which transferred their financial business to that entity.

As of December 31, 2017, Kutxabank had 931 branches as well as 5,963 employees. These data included its subsidiary CajaSur Banco.

In its offices, the BBK brand is used in Vizcaya, the Kutxa brand in Guipúzcoa and the Caja Vital / Vital Kutxa brand in Álava. In the rest of Spain, the Kutxabank brand is used.
