Bank of Ireland (BOI) is an Irish commercial bank and is a member of the Irish big four commercial banks. Bank of Ireland is the oldest banking operation in Ireland today. It was founded on 5 May 1783. Bank of Ireland (BOI) offers a full range of personal, business, private and corporate banking services as well as general insurance, mortgage and pension services. It is the largest financial services group in Ireland, with total assets of more than 120 billion euros. The bank was recognized as the safest bank in the country, Global Finance magazine. As of May 11, 2018, the company had a market capitalization of 8.1 billion euros.
