The BRED Banque Populaire, founded in 1919 by Louis-Alexandre Dagot in Vincennes, is the largest of the French popular banks, part of the BPCE group.
BRED is a cooperative bank with 180,000 members in 2017.
The bank serves customers through 343 local agencies including 80 agencies in the DOM-TOM, and 17 business centers in France. In 2017, BRED’s total workforce was 5,500 people.
