USB BANK PLC (Universal Savings Bank Limited) was founded in 1925 as Yialousa Savings Bank.
It was one of the first companies ever registered in Cyprus.
The operations were interrupted after the Turkish invasion of 1974, then reactivated on March 1, 1990, after a government subsidy and started its operation within the capital of Cyprus, Nicosia. In July 1996, the YSB was renamed to Universal Savings Bank Limited (USB).
Today’s USB BANK customers have access to a full range of products and services, personal and business, both in Cyprus and abroad. They are served on a nationwide basis through 16 branches, through the call center, the ATMs, and electronic banking which offers fast, easy, and secure transactions 24 hours a day from wherever the customer is located.
