The Hellenic Bank began operations in 1976. Within a short time managed to establish itself as one of the strongest financial institutions in Cyprus. The bank currently has an integrated network of 68 branches in Cyprus and 20 in Greece and manpower more than 2,000 people.
The Hellenic Bank operates four Representative Offices. Two in Russia (one in Moscow and one in St. Petersburg), one in Ukraine (Kiev), and one in South Africa (Johannesburg). On January 1, 2011, after obtaining the necessary approvals from Russian authorities, the bank began operating the store in Moscow, which provides full banking.
